Welcome my friend! The purpose of this article is explain “What is the difference between chrominance and luminance” by answering common doubts.
And the quick answer is…
Luminance refers to brightness and chrominance refers to color.
Luminance noise is the noise where only the brightness of colored pixels is affected (the color is ok).
’Chrominance Noise’ is the noise that shows up as colored pixels (Different than they should).
